PLATING TYPES
There is a feeling behind every color, a mood to go bold or stay subtle. At Diameralds Jewels, we provide a wide range of plating options, including Vermeil, Oxidisation, and E-Coating.
Gold, Silver, Rose Gold, Black - No matter the mood, Diameralds Jewels has got you covered!

Gold Micron Plating
Vermeil is the highest quality of gold plating. A thick 2.5 Micron layer of real gold is deposited on the base metal which ensures its longevity.

Rhodium Plating
Rhodium plating is used to enhance the luster and durability of metals such as silver and white gold and gives a smooth, shiny finish to the jewelry. Rhodium itself doesn't easily oxidize, corrode, or react to your skin.

E-Coating
E-coating is the process of covering an object in a fine layer of lacquer using electric currents. If done right, the layer is consistent, even, and most importantly, unnoticeable. It is an additional layer that protects the jewelry from wear and tear.

Silver Plating
Silver Plating is an extra 100% Silver layer that we apply on top of the sterling silver to give it a long-term shininess and additional protection against scratches and daily usage.
This layer, unless stated otherwise, is 2 Micron thick, but in certain cases, we might apply a thicker layer that goes up to 3 Microns.

Rose Gold Plating
Rose gold is an alloy that is made of gold and copper. This combination of two metals is commonly 75% gold and 25% copper, which means that it contains 18K gold. The pink-tinged gold jewelry is perceived as the modern favourites!

Oxidized
Oxidation is a chemical process that gives a "tarnished" or "discolored" effect. Oxidized jewelry is getting more popular along with other products having antique finishes or vintage effects. For esthetical matters and after manufacturing certain items, we oxidize the jewelry in order to blacken the hollow parts and the holes to give them an ancient optical aspect.
